Premier Social Security Education Golf Tournament

Wednesday, March 12, 2014

The inaugural Premier Social Security Education Golf Tournament is scheduled for May 23, 2013 at the Losantivlle Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The purpose of the golf tournament is to promote Social Security education. We are very much aware that 90% of all SS recipients do not maximize Social Security benefits as they are not aware of their options. Social Security recipients and their professional advisers, (CPAs, EAs, Financial Advisors, Lawyers, etc.) are not familiar with the Social Security program and do not even understand the basics.

The Social Security administration assumes that recipients have done their homework before applying for benefits. The reality is that most folks will apply for Social Security benefits at age 62 or their Full Retirement Age without exploring all of their options. Folks are not aware of the “restricted application” or “claim and suspend” strategies” or how to combine these strategies with delaying benefits to age 70 in order to maximize benefits.

To encourage Social Security education, we have declared May as Social Security Education Month. The golf tournament will be the highlight of our activities in May. Additional activities include, seminars, webinars, public appearances and media exposure. We will invite the media to learn about Social Security and to understand the need to promote SS education to the public.

Additional details regarding the Premier Social Security Education Golf Tournament and Social Security Education Month will be announced shortly. Please e-mail Marc Kiner at mkiner@mypremierplan.com if you would like to participate in the golf tournament or be involved with any of our events. Jim Blair and I welcome your participation and comments.

FEATURED TESTIMONIAL

There were a few scenarios that neither one of us (husband and wife) was aware of. We probably would have picked the wrong one . . . It’s a significant difference depending one he one you pick.
